Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment
TAJ Palace Hotel - Cape Town (Night)

A fundamental reason for establishment of our company in 2000 was to embrace the principles of broad based black economic empowerment in South Africa and actively operate as a successful practice without the backup or mentorship of another practice. Our extensive record of projects undertaken, completed and currently being implemented serves as confirmation of the resounding success we have achieved and we will continue striving to maintain and improve.

51.6% of company ownership is held by people of African origin, 76% of which is female. Said owners are active, full time quantity surveyors with impressive personal track records.

The primary objective is to create opportunities, for current and future staff members, for education, training and development in the workplace and beyond. Mahlati Liebetrau vigorously pursues a suitable and effective strategy in dealing with issues of the historically disadvantaged community and the quantity surveying profession as a whole.

We are proud that this program has produced our newest Director, Paseka Ramakhula, and we regard this achievement as only the beginning of what we expect to be the development of multiple successes at all levels of staffing.
